Tokat Erbaa Pickled Vine Leaves

These are grape leaves from the Erbaa district of Tokat province. Delicate vine leaves grow in this region and are prepared as pickles specific to the region.

The leaves are thin, hairless and have few slits on the palm. They have a very pleasant taste. They are yellowish green in color and have a lively appearance.

Rich in calcium, copper, magnesium and iron. Contains vitamins A, C and K. High in fiber. Should be soaked in warm water for 3-4 hours before use. Should be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
